Garvaghy-Skeogh Branch of the Ulster Unionist Party held its annual Somme Memorial Supper in Dromore Rugby Club. As well as enjoying a delightful supper and magnificent musical entertainment by Balliesmills Accordion Band, patrons remembered the sacrifices made by so many in the Great War, Second World War and other conflicts.All of the images from this event may be viewed at drewmcwilliams.com.

It was an honour to witness members of the Royal Irish Rangers 2nd Battalion, Imjin Company, receive the Afgan Campaign Medal at a ceremony at Hillsborough Castle. Lord Brookeborough made the presentations to recognise the dedication and bravery of Ulster troops in Afghanistan.
