SWPP Convention

I've been fortunate to be able to attend the annual convention of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers for a second year. I am a qualified member of the society and have had a wonderful time in seminars and workshops with some of the world's finest photographers. Some 10500 photographers from all over the world signed in during the five days of the convention. I had the opportunity to shoot under the tuition of Martin Schembri (Australia) and Joe Photo (USA) and have presented some of this work below. My thanks to the photographers and particularly models Natalie and Anita.

Young Lovers

Valencia is a favourite city of mine. It's a holiday destination we've enjoyed on a number of occasions, most recently for the F1 Grand Prix in August 2008. This is the scene above the remains of the Roman Baths late in the evening. This quiet square proves a suitable romantic venue for young lovers.

Children in the Studio

I'm currently booking February children's portrait sessions both in the studio and at clients' homes. As a former teacher I am able to set children, and their parents, at ease and so capture quality images which will bring joy for many years. You can view my Children's Photography portfolio on drewmcwilliams.com.

Making photographs of wonderful people

What a pleasure it is to make photographs of wonderful people! I intend that the time I spend with you and your family will be fun, enjoyable and rewarding for all members of the family. Recently we had great fun at the home of one of the sisters above making these images. Before we started I told the girls that that I wanted to capture the closeness of their relationship with one another and not just how they looked. You can judge for yourself whether of not I was successful. Have a look at my portfolio pages to view more of my family portraits.
