Dromore Ladies Netball Club held it's Annual Awards Dinner at Thyme Square, Dromore. The club, which was founded in 1982, continues to flourish - competitively on the court - and in the fashion and style stakes off it!

Dromore May Fair

Dromore May Fair took place in the town’s Market Square with an abundance of attractions and activities to suit all family members.

Soap Box Derby

Dromore Civic Week included a Soap Box Derby. The route took drivers from the top of the hill at Mount Street all the way to the flat of Market Square - not for the faint hearted! The event proved very popular with the many friends and families who turned out to watch the action.

I was fortunate to spend two days training with leading wedding and portrait photographers Gordon McGowan and Barrie Downie. In the beautiful setting of Goodwood House, Gordon and Barrie demonstrated, guided and taught my small group a great deal about posing, lighting and Photoshop.

Dromore Civic Week

Dromore Civic Week began in beautiful sunshine with hundreds of people enjoying a wide range of activities and events. Highlight of the afternoon was the unveiling of a classic Harry Ferguson tractor, a tribute to the great engineer and inventor, which will greet visitors to Dromore. The ceremony was performed by Banbridge District Chairman, Norah Beare, assisted by William Copeland, Neil Reid, Helen McFadden, Norman Fairley, Jeffrey Donaldson MP, MLA, and David and Dean Herron.

Lorna and Noel Patterson from Dromore were out in style during Dromore Civic Week's Vintage Run. Noel spent eight years restoring his 1936 Morris Eight.
